Termite fumigation

Termite Fumigation

Fumigation treats a structure as a whole. It is one of several pathways Mystical may discuss after an inspection — considered on the evidence, explained plainly, and never presented as the default.

What it is

A whole-structure approach

Where a localized approach works on specific, reachable areas, fumigation addresses the structure as a single unit. That difference is the whole reason the two are not interchangeable, and the reason the choice between them depends on what an inspection actually finds.

Because the scope is larger, the conversation is longer. You should expect to be told why the findings point this way, what the alternative approaches would and would not address, and what the work involves for your property before anything is scheduled.

Sequence

How a fumigation recommendation comes about

Described in general terms. The specifics for your property are confirmed with you directly rather than promised in advance on a web page.

Inspection and findings

The recommendation begins with what was observed on the property, not with the method. Fumigation is only discussed when the findings point that way.

Review and planning

The findings, the reasoning, and the scheduling and preparation involved are reviewed with you directly before anything is committed to.

Whole-structure treatment

The structure is treated as a single unit rather than in isolated areas. Specific requirements are confirmed with you as part of planning.

Follow-up and repair

Damaged wood identified during the inspection is addressed separately, through the repair conversation, where that work is wanted.

Inspection first

Where this fits in Mystical's approach

Mystical is a termite-only company, and the sequence never changes: inspect, explain, then treat or fumigate, then repair and document. Fumigation sits in the third stage, and it gets there only when the second stage supports it.

  • Findings are reviewed with you before any approach is recommended
  • Localized treatment, fumigation, and repair are compared against what was observed
  • Wood repair is scoped separately, after the termite question is settled
  • Transaction timelines are accounted for when a property is in escrow

Questions

Fumigation questions

  • It is an approach that treats the entire structure rather than isolated, individually reached areas. It is considered when findings suggest activity is not confined to a few accessible locations.
